New imagery for Virtual Earth

Microsoft continues to impress me with the pace of their imagery updates, all of which contain piles of data (10TB this time, according to their blog).

    Using the Virtual Globetrotting database I checked out some transients like planes in flight and it looks to me as though the Bird’s Eye View data is the same as has been there for quite a while.

    Also you can usually ‘hack’ the URL with the scene number to jump through the new data. In the last update Dayton, OH was the highest numbered scene at around 16050000 (give or take a few thousand). There are still no new scenes beyond that.

    I think this was a accidental re-announcement of the last update.
