Google Earth Imagery Update for May, 2009

by mickey on May 9, 2009

According to the Google Earth Blog, there has been another imagery update for Google Earth.  The full list of updated areas is still coming in, but so far they’ve found updates in Scotland, Brazel, USA, Englad, Norway and Spain.

Keep an eye on the GEB post for more updates.

I would like to update the free version of the Google Earth I have. I am tired to see the same old pictures from two or three years ago, at least let me see new pictures I do not care if they are not live.

Thanks.

Hi
can you update this coordinate:
Lat: 34°53′N
Long: 50°59′E

I am sure a lot of news agencies would love to have the newly updated version rather than the 2005 version of the satellite imagery.

Yasser — Google Earth is automatically updated with new imagery when it comes out. However, many areas are still 2-3 years old and it’s not your fault. Just be assured that you’re always seeing the newest imagery possible, regardless of which version you’re using.
